22. Powerman Duathlon World Championships Zofingen: The winners of the 22nd Powerman Zofingen are the same as two years ago: Andy Sutz from Schaffhausen and Erika Csomor from Hungary, who won for the seventh time. The couple ist therefore World Champion on the Duathlon Long Distance of the I.P.A (International Powerman Association).

Extreme athlete Ussher besides favourites at the start Powerman Duathlon Austria is ready for take-off. 600 staff members are mobilised and waiting for the excellent field of athletes. Weyer and its surrounding communities are well prepared for a star-studded event, where the male challengers first of all are: national favourite Karl Prungraber (AUT), Andy Sutz (SUI) and Anthony LeDuey (FRA).

One month from today, 5 August, Britain’s Catriona Morrison will bid to become World Champion at the 2010 GE Edinburgh ITU Duathlon World Championships. She last won the world title in 2006, and has since built a reputation as one of the world’s toughest endurance athletes.

In remembrance of the greatest duathlete ever our committee organized the first Memorial Benny Vansteelant in 2008. As there couldn’t take place a second edition in 2009 due to roadworks, we entered the Powerman-circuit in 2010 for this second edition.Find the event on our map!

Athletes prepare for European Duathlon Championships

British triathlon has confirmed an exciting team of eight athletes for the 2010 Nancy ETU Duathlon European Championships, next weekend (1-2 May). The team contains a mix of talented juniors and new and developing senior athletes looking to gain valuable experience in the lead up to Britain hosting the 2010 Edinburgh ITU Duathlon World Championships in September.

The Big Cow Emberton Duathlon features as the third of four qualification events for the 2010 Edinburgh ITU Du athlon World Championships this Sunday (11 April) in Buckinghamshire. The event will feature the recently crowned 2010 British Duathlon Age Group Champion, Eimear Mullan.By

Last year's  Duathlon World championships was held in Concord (USA-Colorado) and gold medalists were Jarrod Shoemaker(USA) and Vendula Frintova(CZ). This year's  2010 Edinburgh Duathlon World Championships will take part on 3rd - 5th September 2010.About the final course map ther are no informations on the Edinburgh Duathlon homepage, but what is sure is a "significantly long climb with a steep and technical decent.The run will use the roads around the Scottish Parlament and "Dynamic Earth" exhibition venue, with one large hill per lap. The races will consist of multiple laps making the Edinburgh course one of the most challenging ever used for an ITU Duathlon World Championships."
